Martin Goffman is a Ph.D. chemist with over twenty years of experience in the laboratory. He founded Martin Goffman Associates in 1986. Dr. Goffman has been actively engaged in the use of computers for the management of laboratory data since 1978 and in the design of laboratory information management systems since 1980. His experience includes needs analysis and LIMS implementation into commercial environments, and he has consulted extensively with pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental, research, and contract laboratories. The client base of Martin Goffman Associates ranges from very small laboratories of 10 to 12 full time employees up to major international corporations in the Fortune 10. Each assignment is unique and the scope of work is as narrow or broad as the client requires.
